Each item is handmade and unique. I use a porcelain clay body for most of my work and food safe commercial glazes.
Pottery with gold luster must NOT go in the microwave or dishwasher. All other pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe, however, please use care and good judgment.
Using harsh scrubbing pads to clean your pottery can scratch the surface and remove gold luster. I recommend gently hand washing/drying and avoiding microwave use to extend the life of your pottery.
Avoid sudden temperature changes; thermal shock can cause pottery to crack. Never use pottery on a hot stove stop, broiler, or open flame. Avoid pouring boiling water into pottery. Boiling water can crack your pot!
